Meeting Information
We have resumed our Spring walking schedule outdoors! Our waking route has us meeting in the back parking lot by the river and walking north along the walking path. Remember to check the blog if the weather is questionable. We will post an alert if we are changing or canceling our meetings. Our meeting place for stormy weather is The Centre of Elgin. We thank The Centre for all the cold months of warm indoor walking. We would also like to thank The Centre Manager, Mohammed for making our talks very comfortable!

Please let Nancy know if you are joining us for one of our favorite reads that hit the big screen: Water for Elephants-dinner and a movie will be Friday, May 13th. We will meet at 5:30-6:00 at Nick's Pizza on Randall (Peanuts & Lemonade!) and Marcus Theatre for the movie. I hope to prepay for a block of tickets for a 7:30-8:00 show time. Also, we will have our Walking Book Club T-shirts VERY soon! Let us know if you want one and what size.

yes for both for me. t-shirt large for me too. prom that night at Larkin, but i should be kissing my girl on the cheek and letting her go~ while i go out with the girls! do i bring money for both tonight? also i'll be late, late, late~ just making the talk but no walking.

Hello Everyone!
We are all very excited about our dinner at Nick's and going to see Water for Elephants this Friday! Please meet us at the restaurant at 5:30; the movie will be at 7:20 at Marcus theatre.
How fun is this?
We had a great time Friday night, Water for Elephants was the best Walking Book Club movie so far! We are looking into an ECC production of The Glass Castle...Stay tunned for our next adventure!!!
